Senior estimator

My client are an Office interior fit out specialist who are looking for a Senior Estimator to join them on a permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a similar background in Office Fit-out and be looking to join an expanding team. You will be self-motivated and be able to work quickly and efficiently. 

Duties & responsibilities
You will be working closely with the Managing Director. General bidding and estimating duties will include but not limited to:

• Ensuring bids are going out and met, quality check, detailed data input, pre bid meetings
• Preparing of cost estimates, organising bids, liaising with clients, colleagues and engaging with relevant parties to determine the financial needs of completing a project
• Prepare cost budgets and cost estimates for new contracts and proposals for clients
• Conduct site inspection for tender understanding

Experience requirements

This role would ideally suit someone who has over 7+ years’ experience in a similar Fit out role. It is essential to have good commercial awareness and knowledge of overall tender process, understanding of JCT/NEC contracts, ability to travel to Site as required and a valid driving licence.
