Contracts Manager

CONTRACTS MANAGER - STAFFORDSHIRE - £50-60k DOE

Turnkey interior fit out specialists are looking for a Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor who complete a mixture of construction and refurbishment projects for blue chip clients up and down the country. 

The company complete works in Retail, Leisure, Education and Commercial sectors. The role will require you to visit the office, visit sites and offers flexibility with working from home. 

Duties:

You will be reporting directly to the Contracts Director, responsible for coordinating smaller teams and staff, developing the project from brief, the day to day running of the contract, attend project progress meetings, ensure project is completed, cleaned and handed over to the client in a professional manner. You will ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and have a high standard of Health & Safety. 

The successful candidate:

You will need to have good written and verbal communication skills, have impeccable attention to detail, be able to work well under pressure, have a good understanding of construction techniques (ie Carpentry, Joinery and finishing trades), comfortable dealing with clients, architects and sub-contractors, programme control and a positive attitude

Essential skills/requirements:

• CSCS Card
• SMSTS
• Asbestos awareness
• Driving License
• Proficient in Ms Project, word and excel
• Previous experience in a similar role
