Office Fit-out company are currently looking for an ambitious and driven individual that has experience working as an Assistant QS to join them on a permanent basis. The role will involve internal on the job training and progression into an exciting pre-con role.

What will you need?

You will need to hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or equivalent; or have 3+ years in industry.
You must be confident and client facing as a large portion of the job is going out to sites and meeting with clients and subcontractors.
You will need to be driven and manage a workload efficiently.

What will you be doing?

You will be assisting the Pre-con Managers with a variety of QS and Surveying duties. Including;

Assisting in the preparation of cost plans, estimating, bid management, and tendering.
Assist in keeping contracts up to date, including amendments and new cost estimates and progress updates with the client.
Adhere to company standards and guidelines.
Focus on maximising profit and customer satisfaction.
Maintain relationships with existing clients, keeping a sales-minded attitude and seek and build new relationships.
Prepare and submit financial documentation.
Liaising internally to maintain business development.
