Project Manager

As part of our continuous growth we are seeking to employ a Project Manager to join our energetic and experienced team.
The successful candidate will be required to manage a series of refurbishment projects across both the private and public sector. You will be working for an innovative, modern and
forward-thinking business and joining a dedicated and dynamic team.

Motivated, with the ability to work independently, with a minimum of four years of project management experience and a proven track record of delivering refurbishment projects.

You should be motivated, confident in dealing with people and possess the skills to communicate effectively with end-users, clients and consultants whilst maintaining our vision and values.

The successful Candidate will:
• Ensure the delivery of projects within the budget and time scales specified
• Represent Senior Management
• Focus on motivation of the workforce to deliver on time and to budget
• Focus on quality, customer service and delivery

• Drive commercial viability of the contract to include pricing
• Ensure Client customer satisfaction
• Manage customer/client liaison
• Understand contract financials
 

Responsibilities
Working in partnership with the Lead Project Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
• Lead the site teams in carrying out projects in an effective and efficient manner
• Ensure that adequate pre-contract planning is carried out including method statements, contract program and site layout
• Be responsible for the health and safety plan in conjunction with the H and S Advisor
• Arrange and chair internal pre-start/estimating handover meetings
• Arrange external pre-contract meetings with the Client and other interested parties
• Allocate, distribute and action technical information
• Maintain sufficient information to enable the progress of actions
• Prepare internal and external progress reports
• Oversee the day to day management of the contracts
• Provide training, support and mentoring to staff
• Recommend improvements to existing systems or procedures as appropriate
• Monitor the quality of work to ensure that all works comply with the relevant standards
• Monitor and check the costs to ensure the projects are kept within budget

Operation Management
The successful Candidate will:
• Be able to efficiently plan the delivery of the project from the initial enquiry and manage the project from that point
• Chair and co-ordinate meetings with sub-contractors
• Add value to the site managers throughout the project duration
• Professionally manage all sub-contractors in a commercially accepted manner
• Monitor day-to-day progress in relation to the programme
• Manage and monitor information flow
• Sign off systems commissioned for handover
• Produce handover documentation – Operation and Maintenance manuals
• Handover of systems to client
• Manage, maintain, and monitor quality at all times
• Manage, maintain, and monitor Health and Safety on site at all times
• Manage and log the ordering of site plants and returns People Management

The successful Candidate will:
• Ensure problems are dealt with quickly and efficiently
• Provide clear leadership and delegate responsibilities in line with the ability of employees. At all times providing a highly motivational and inspirational environment
• Agree and monitor challenging but achievable targets for individuals
• Ensure clear communications between all employees and the client team
