Contracts Manager with fit out experience- Halifax

My client is a main contractor in the medical sector based in Halifax.  They have a turnover of £ 20m - £ 25m pa and are looking for a person to support the Estimating Manager and the team in a pre-construction role- Contracts Manager position.

 

The role would be primarily commercial and typically involve the following;

 

  • Visiting medical facilities throughout the UK
  • Assessing the scopes of works required
  • Liaising with M + E partners
  • Preparing cost proposals
  • Handing projects to our Construction Department to take the project through the construction phase.
  • Primarily office based at Halifax.

 

There is not a requirement for medical knowledge as training will be provided.

 

We are looking for a client facing candidate who is presentable, motivated and of strong commercial background, so perhaps with some commercial experience.

 

This role has excellent opportunity for career progression to senior roles.
