Senior Estimator/ Quantity Surveyor

ABOUT THE CLIENT

My client is one of the leading contractors in the country working across numerous industries including; commercial, leisure, health & industrial. They are currently looking for experienced Quantity Surveyors / Senior Estimators to join their thriving DfE division in Birmingham.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Commercial lead on competitive and negotiated bids
• Management of tender documentation
• Attending client meetings, design meetings etc
• Produce and manage subcontractor schedule
• Carry out bills of quantities production or manage bill of quantities procurement on larger projects.
• Investigate, identify and present risks and opportunities
• Presentation of cost summary at tender settlement meeting
• Completion of relevant sections of the submission-Form of Tender, Clarifications etc.
• Managing tender submission proposals and deliverables.
• Mentoring of junior members of the department.
• Successfully submitting a tender on time and to the satisfaction of the Directors.
