PROJECT MANAGER $95,000 - $125,000 - CENTRAL FLORIDA - Kissimmee, Lake Mary, Melbourne, Orlando

Heavy Highway and Roadway Contractor are looking for a Project Manager to join their busy and expanding team. This company has over 30 years in industry building roads, bridges and highways working with FDOT, local municipalities, local developers, and engineers. They value their workers and like to show it! The role will include but not be limited to:

• Contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts agreements and addenda.
• Direct project team and monitors subcontractors' compliance with contractual commitments.
• Prepare project work plan, scope, schedule and budget, and communicates these to project team members; monitors/manages project production for compliance with schedule, budget and quality objectives.
• Monitor and communicate project progress/status to senior management.
• Establish and maintain project account files on the computerized project management information system, and periodically reviews project reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Schedule and coordinate project meetings.

Ideal Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering
• 4+ years of experience in a Project Manager role with a heavy civil contractor
• Experience in FDOT and municipal projects (civil, highway, roadway geometric design, roadway plan production, drainage design and PD&E related design).
• Proven proficiency in estimating, scheduling, budgeting/cost control, field supervision, financial reporting, client relationship, interpersonal skills, computer skills, safety/insurance, ability to communicate, both written and oral.
• Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
• Confident using Viewpoint, Primavera, Excel and Word.
• Competent in reading and understanding civil construction plans, drawings, and specifications
