Construction Manager/Director (Roaming role)

The Role:

Manage the project teams and supply chain to deliver projects to time, meeting cost and quality targets and standards.
Ensure safety targets and standards are maintained by knowing what safety excellence looks like and communicating safety with passion and credibility to inspire, motivate and support the project team to achieve the vision. Foster a continuous improvement culture by seeking input from all members of the project team and encouraging them to implement safety improvements.
Proactively manage the customer relationship during delivery, including change making to effectively manage expectations, and maintain long-term relationships.
Manage and deliver operational excellence and efficiency through appropriate use of health check reviews through the Bid, Pre-construction, and Construction phases of the project.

Candidate:

You will have strong management skills and the ability to lead, influence and communicate with others to deliver targets.

Able to demonstrate a progressive and impressive career timeline of management experience and leadership within the construction industry.
Can develop a clear vision for the business and successfully lead the team to meet the strategic goals set.
To be commercially aware with an exceptional eye for detail.
Possess great communication skills, that have been built from many years of exposure working on site and leading/developing teams at management level.
Have a positive mindset, attitude, commitment, and skills to succeed
Provide strategic and professional guidance to site managers and other members of the team.
Ensure the company operates all its processes safely and always adheres to current
H&S standards and ensures all staff have the relevant training and qualifications in place.

Help to build upon our existing commercial relationships with our supply chain partners and seek to extend this network for mutual benefit.
Support all members of the team in a professional and positive manner, to deliver outstanding outcomes and to help our management team develop into exemplars of our industry

Be driven, motivated with an ability to adapt to all circumstances and situations that arise.
Ability to resolve problems at whatever level with innovation and creative solutions

Salary: 

£90-100K Salary DOE including car and healthcare etc…
