QUANTITY SURVEYOR/ ESTIMATOR

£45K - £60K (DOE) + PACKAGE

MERSEYSIDE (HYBRID)

You will be working with one of the leading UK construction contractors that offer full refurbishment and fit-out solutions within the retail, leisure, hospitality & commercial sectors

 

About the role

In this dual role you will be taking on both Estimating and Quantity Surveying duties, working with the contractor to actively source, win and price new scopes of works.

Hybrid working is offered, working from home/office based, if preferred.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

• Reviewing and producing tenders
• Reviewing quotations
• Overseeing all aspects of procurement
• Producing measurements, budgets, forecasts and commercial administration 
• Communicating with subcontractors, suppliers and operational staff - developing and maintaining relationships

 

About you

To be a successful applicant for this role, you will need to have:

• A minimum of 3 years experience as a QS/ Estimator for a build/ fit out contractor (ideally)
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
• Confidence with an ability to grow and maintain relationships
• A degree qualification or equivalent in a relevant field
• 2 x references from previous employers
