Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to take over the day-to-day coordination of the final stages of a high-volume residential fit-out project at Oldfield Wharf in Salford.
This is a fast-paced, complex project requiring someone with a sharp organisational mindset, proven on-site leadership, and a background in managing high-spec fit-outs or package installations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead site operations through the final phase of the project, ensuring deadlines are met.
Manage a large number of labourers and subcontractors effectively.
Oversee the installation of:
Fitted furniture
Fitted wardrobes
11,000+ items of loose furniture
Coordinate and schedule deliveries to maintain workflow efficiency.
Ensure the site is clean, organised, and health & safety compliant at all times.
Liaise with the client and contractor on-site to navigate any existing friction with professionalism.
Conduct regular progress checks, troubleshoot issues, and report back to project stakeholders.
Work collaboratively with project managers, suppliers, and site teams to meet key milestones.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site Manager, Fit-Out Manager, or Package Manager.
Strong background in residential or commercial fit-out—high-end office fit-out experience highly desirable.
Exceptional organisational skills—ability to manage complex logistics and personnel on a pressured timeline.
Proactive, solution-focused mindset with the ability to maintain control in a challenging site environment.
CSCS, SMSTS, and First Aid certifications.
Able to start immediately.
