Job Title: Site-Based Project Manager
Location: Aberdeen (City Centre)
Salary: c£65,000–£66,000 per annum
The Opportunity:
Our client, a well-established construction and fit-out contractor, has recently secured an exciting £6m project to convert an existing building into a high-end go-karting and bowling entertainment venue in the heart of Aberdeen.
They are seeking a Site-Based Project Manager to lead delivery on-site, ensuring smooth coordination, programme adherence, and ongoing client communication. With a strong pipeline of upcoming work in the region, this is a great opportunity to become a key part of a growing operation in Aberdeen.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage all day-to-day site activities for the £6m entertainment venue conversion project
Maintain and update the construction programme, proactively identifying and resolving issues
Coordinate with subcontractors across various trades: demolition, risers, lifts/escalators, entrances, internal fit-out, and floor finishes
Serve as the key point of contact for the client, based in North West England – ensuring regular updates and a collaborative relationship
Ensure health & safety, quality, and compliance standards are upheld at all times
Work closely with a visiting Senior Contracts Manager for strategic and operational support
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Site or Project Manager on high-value commercial or leisure fit-out projects
Strong ability to manage site-based operations independently
Skilled in project programming and making real-time updates/amendments
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Strong understanding of fit-out and building services coordination
SMSTS, CSCS (Black or Managers), and First Aid certifications
