An established and award-winning principal contractor with a nationwide presence is looking to hire a creative, driven, and technically capable Assistant Marketing Manager to join their marketing function. This business specialises in commercial, industrial, and education refurbishment schemes across the UK and works with a wide range of clients including investment firms, building consultancies, and educational institutions.

The Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and managing the company’s marketing function. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys managing multiple marketing platforms, producing engaging content, and leading digital campaigns from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Website & Digital Marketing
Maintain and develop the company website (content, structure, UX).
Implement SEO strategies and manage PPC campaigns independently.
Monitor analytics, traffic, and engagement; generate reports with insights.
Social Media & Content Creation
Manage social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X).
Create and schedule compelling content (blogs, case studies, news).
Curate relevant third-party content and engage followers.
Internal Communications
Create and circulate monthly newsletters.
Develop internal communication materials to support staff initiatives.
Promote employee achievements and company culture.
PR & Brand Awareness
Collaborate with PR agencies to deliver positive media coverage.
Manage press releases, media kits, and award submissions.
Support speaking engagement opportunities and editorial features.
Brand Management
Ensure consistent brand presentation across all materials.
Maintain and update templates, collateral, and brand guidelines.
Performance & Compliance
Monitor marketing KPIs and adjust strategies accordingly.
Ensure compliance with GDPR and other relevant regulations.
Business Development Support
Support marketing elements of client acquisition and retention.
Produce tailored proposals, capability statements, and CRM updates.
Conduct market and competitor research to support growth strategies.
About You
Required Experience & Skills:
Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role (construction/property ideal).
Strong CMS/web management experience (e.g., WordPress).
Skilled in SEO, PPC, and social media campaign management.
Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Confident juggling multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative and analytical with a proactive mindset.
