First Fix Tasks May Include:

  • Installing structural timber work (stud walls, joists, noggins, trimmers).

  • Fitting door frames, window boards, and casings.

  • Preparing openings for staircases and services.

  • Ensuring correct allowances for plastering and finishes.

Second Fix Tasks May Include:

  • Hanging doors and fitting ironmongery.

  • Installing skirting boards, architraves, and mouldings.

  • Fitting stair parts, handrails, and balustrades.

  • Installing cabinetry, shelving, and bespoke joinery as required.

General Requirements:

  • Work accurately from drawings and measurements.

  • Maintain a clean and safe working area.

  • Liaise with site manager and other trades to ensure smooth progress.

  • Use appropriate tools and fixings for all tasks.

  • Deliver workmanship to agreed deadlines and quality standards.
