Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 (dependent on experience) + Car / Car Allowance

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Estimator with a strong background in main contracting to join a collaborative team of three. You will be responsible for pricing and securing a range of projects across retail, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Projects typically range in value from £100k to £6m and may include new builds, refurbishments, and extensions. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive team environment with long-term stability and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate cost estimates and tenders for projects from £100k to £6m.
Work across a variety of projects, including retail, commercial, and industrial (new build, refurbishment, and extensions).
Collaborate with the wider pre-construction team to secure profitable work.
Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare estimates.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather information and negotiate costs.
Assist in building and maintaining strong supply chain relationships.
Support colleagues in a team of 3 estimators, contributing to knowledge sharing and teamwork.
Requirements
Proven experience as an Estimator within a main contracting environment.
Strong knowledge of pricing projects across different build types.
Experience working on retail, commercial, and/or industrial projects.
Ability to manage multiple tenders and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail.
