Site Manager - Birmingham

Site / Project Manager – Restaurant Refurbishment Project 
Location: Central Birmingham
Duration: 9 weeks 
Start Date: 22nd September 
Rate: £250-£270/Shift

We are currently seeking an experienced Site / Project Manager to oversee a fast-paced restaurant refurbishment project in the heart of Birmingham. This is a key role for a motivated individual with a strong track record in fit-out and refurbishment, especially within the hospitality or retail sectors.

Project Overview:

The works involve a comprehensive refurbishment of an existing restaurant space, including:

  • Alterations to the existing layout

  • Installation of new electric kitchen equipment

  • New servery counters and joinery

  • Full renewal of wall, floor, and ceiling finishes

  • Modifications to existing building services (MEP) to suit the new layout

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day-to-day management of site operations to ensure project delivery on time and to budget

  • Coordination and supervision of subcontractors and trades

  • Ensuring health & safety compliance at all times

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and suppliers

  • Managing project documentation and reporting progress

  • Quality control and snagging

Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing refurbishment/fit-out projects, preferably within restaurants or hospitality

  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certification

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills

  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
