Job Title: School Cleaner – Wadebridge

Location: Wadebridge, Cornwall
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 1:00pm – 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Part-time, Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our team, providing cleaning services at a local school in Wadebridge. You’ll play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning classrooms, corridors, toilets, and communal areas

  • Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces

  • Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely

  • Replenishing supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet tissue

  • Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor

  • Following health and safety procedures and adhering to school safeguarding policies

Requirements

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred (school or commercial environment desirable)

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • Good attention to detail

  • Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check (required for working in a school setting)
