Job Title: Project Manager / Contracts Manager

Location: North West (with travel across the UK)
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

The Role

Due to sustained growth and a healthy pipeline of upcoming work, the company is looking to appoint an experienced and driven Project Manager / Contracts Manager.

The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of multiple construction, refurbishment, and fit-out schemes from pre-construction through to handover — ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver projects ranging in value from £500k to £2m across the maintenance, fit-out, and refurbishment sectors.

  • Oversee all stages of the project lifecycle — from estimating and pre-start through to completion and client handover.

  • Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure programme, budget, and quality targets are achieved.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.

  • Produce and manage project programmes, cost reports, and progress updates.

  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards on all sites.

  • Contribute to company growth by promoting best practices, supporting junior staff, and identifying opportunities for improvement.


Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Contracts Manager within the construction industry.

  • Strong background in fit-out, refurbishment, or maintenance projects.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Financial awareness and commercial acumen, with experience managing budgets up to £2m.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and travel to sites across the UK.

  • Full UK driving licence.
