The Role

We are seeking an experienced Freelance Working Site Foreman / Site Manager with a joinery background to oversee a restaurant fit-out project.

This is a hands-on role, suitable for someone who is comfortable managing the site while also being involved in day-to-day works, coordination, and problem-solving on site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of a restaurant fit-out

  • Hands-on involvement where required, particularly with joinery and finishing works

  • Managing subcontractors and direct labour

  • Ensuring works are delivered to programme and quality standards

  • Full responsibility for on-site Health & Safety

  • Conducting site inductions and toolbox talks

  • Coordinating deliveries and materials

  • Liaising with the client and project team

Essential Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Working Foreman or Site Manager

  • Strong joinery background

  • Valid SMSTS (essential)

  • Valid CSCS card (essential)

  • Good understanding of Health & Safety on fit-out projects

  • Ability to read drawings and manage trades on site

  • Reliable, organised, and proactive
