My client are an award-winning and leading national Clerk of Works consultancy providing local Quality Site Building inspection to construction projects. They have an excellent opportunity for Senior Bid Manager to come and join their ever growing team. You will be reporting into the Associate Commercial Director, responsible for a variety of duties and hold the position of Line Manager to the Bid Compliance Manager, Proposals Manager and Bid Administrator.
Duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and pro-active development of the whole bidding process for the group.
Managing the preparation and timely submission of all commercial enquiries, PQQ’s and tenders.
Manage opportunities via Tenders Direct and allocate to the bid or marketing team as appropriate.
Lead Commercial proposition for multiple, concurrent, complex bids with the support of the Associate Commercial Director.
Review of proposal responses from a variety of stakeholders, ensuring the final response is compelling, consistent, compliant and clear, and that the submission reads with a “common voice
Attend quotation/contract handover meetings upon award of successful bids. Facilitate robust handover to resource team.
Check appointment documents at tender stage and orders once received in regards to awarded projects.
Contribution to monthly KPI’s.
- Prior experience as Senior Bid Manager
- Team player
- Experience working within a similar industry would be advantageous
