Assistant Contracts Manager/ Estimator- Halifax

Rogers Mchugh’s client is recruiting for a client- facing Estimator/ QS TO assist the current Estimating Manager . The projects our client carry out are all medical pre-installation throughout the UK.

The successful candidate will be office based in Halifax but willing to trave l throughout the UK a couple of days a week.  

The role would be primarily commercial and typically involve the following:

• Visiting medical facilities throughout the UK
• Assessing the scopes of works required
• Liaising with M + E partners
• Preparing cost proposals
• Handing projects to our Construction Department to take the project through the construction phase.
• Primarily office based at Halifax.

The successful candidate must be:

• Presentable
• Motivated and of strong commercial background
• Some QS / Estimating experience.
• Do not require medical knowledge (training will be provided)
• Willing to liaise with contractors and subcontractors
• Price up and tender scopes and materials
