Manchester based Contractor are looking for an Assistant QS to join their commercial based on a permanent basis. You'll be supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor and be supported in your role. This client complete works in New build and Refurb within the Commercial sector. 

The role will involve;

• Supporting the Project Quantity Surveyor and commercial team
• Producing commercial reports both internally and external.
• Ensure the timely receipt of quotations for materials, equipment and Sub- contract works. Undertake commercial assessments of quotes received and ensure the timely placement of orders.
• Regularly complete on-site measurements/ take offs.
• Ensure all contractual processes are completed.

The ideal candidate;

• Will hold a relevant construction qualification( QS Degree) or equivalent with experience of take-off and measurements.
• Be a self starter
• Hold a UK driving license
• Excellent with Computers and programmes
• Client facing and a good communicator
