Job Description:
As a Project Quantity Surveyor (QS, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial aspects of construction projects across diverse sectors, including:

Your expertise in Quantity Surveying will be crucial in ensuring project cost control, budgeting, and financial transparency.
Key Responsibilities:

Cost Estimation: Accurately estimate project costs, considering materials, labour, equipment, and other expenses, to provide realistic budget forecasts.

Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Contract Management: Prepare and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.

Cost Analysis: Conduct in-depth cost analysis, cost comparison, and value engineering to optimize project financials.

Variation and Change Management: Assess and manage variations and changes to contracts, ensuring proper documentation and cost control.

Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project financial stability.

Client Communication: Maintain transparent communication with clients regarding project costs, financial reports, and any relevant financial information.

Progress Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to project stakeholders, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen.
- Proficiency in QS software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of relevant construction contracts and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
