Job Description:

We are urgently seeking a motivated Graduate Quantity Surveyor or experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Bedford. This position is crucial to our general construction and restoration projects and involves a wide range of responsibilities.

Projects: 

• Industrial
• Commercial Builds
• Education
• Heritage

Responsibilities:

• Conduct cost analysis and estimations for construction and restoration projects.
• Prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, and cost reports.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budgets.
• Evaluate and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and regulations.
• Maintain clear and efficient communication with all stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• For Graduate Quantity Surveyor, relevant degree in quantity surveying or a related field.
• For experienced Quantity Surveyor, proven experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in industry-specific software and tools.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
