H&S Co-Coordinator

Title: Health & Safety Co-Ordinator

Location: Lancashire

Salary: Up to £35k

Report to: Operations Manager

 

Company Overview:

My client has delivered construction projects to clients in a range of sectors, including retail, education, healthcare, housing, and leisure since their inception in 2009.

 

They offer a range of construction services, including complete design and build services, build to established specification, and trade specific construction services covering new build and refurbishment projects.

 

Must Have:

  • NEBOSH or equivalent in Health & Safety
  • Experience within Construction
  • Driving License and use of vehicle.

  • Excellent IT skills and relevant knowledge of Microsoft software

 

Job Description

  • Prepare Construction Phase Plans (CPPs) and required supporting documentation
  • Prepare Passive Fire Protection (PFPs) files for site, where applicable
  • Prepare Project O&M Handover submissions and discuss with allocated CDM-A to achieve approval.
  • Conduct & produce Risk Assessment & Method Statement as required for allocated projects.
  • Request and review risk assessments, competencies and other required documentation from subcontractors and direct supplier as required for allocated projects.
  • Review & action all internal HSE audits for allocated projects.
  • Collect information from site to produce waste reports and provide to Client as required.
  • Collect information from site to produce asset tagging reports and provide to Client as required.
  • Produce company HSE bulletins and issue as per annual agreed strategy and allocation.
  • Assist with the update of toolbox talks.
  • Assist the team in ensuring agreed KPI, service standards and timelines, stakeholder expectations and client needs are met.
  • Assist with the implementation of new or existing HSE-related legislation, and company standards.
  • Monitoring of environmental impacts and researching future initiatives
  • Take responsibility of a range of administrative responsibilities to assist with the smooth delivery of projects.
  • Provide suggestions for continuous improvement on existing procedures and practices.
  • Act at all times as a representative of the company
