Site Manager Needed – Convenience Store Refit (Manchester)
Start Date: 21/07/2025
Location: Manchester
Duration: 7 Weeks (with potential follow-on work)
Rate: £280-300/day

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a 7-week convenience store refit project in Manchester. This role involves managing multiple elements of the build and is ideal for someone with a joinery background and food retail experience. There is a strong possibility to go straight onto another job.

Project Scope:

  • Key areas of work:
    • Basement works
    • Installation of a mezzanine floor
    • Shop floor refit (including installation of new refrigeration units)
  • All works are internal and will be completed during day shifts
  • No weekends scheduled in the programme, but flexibility is needed as weekends may be required

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing food retail fit-outs (E.G Tesco’s, Asda, Sainsbury’s or similar)
  • Strong joinery knowledge/background
  • Ability to coordinate trades and maintain tight programmes
  • Good communication and client liaison skills

Essential Certifications:

  • CSCS 
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • Asbestos Awareness
  • Fire Marshall
  • Temporary Works Co-ordinator
