Junior Quantity Surveyor – Interior Fit-Out Team
Location: Romford | Salary: £35,000–£50,000 | Hours: 8am–5pm, Monday–Friday
A well-established commercial fit-out company is seeking a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join their office-based washroom/interior fit-out team in Romford. Reporting to the Director, this role offers excellent exposure to commercial projects across the South of England and the opportunity to develop your career within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support commercial interior fit-out projects through sub-contractor management, cost reporting, and invoice processing.
- Assist in change management and preparation of variation orders.
- Produce schedules, take-offs, measurements, order enquiries, and estimates.
- Support contract execution and administration processes.
- Work independently and collaboratively to deliver project requirements on time.
Requirements:
- Experience in commercial interior fit-out.
- Experience in sub-contractor management and variation/change management.
- Competent in cost reporting, payment applications, and invoice processing.
- Ability to produce schedules, take-offs, measurements, order enquiries, and estimates.
- Knowledge of contract execution and administration.
- Able to work independently and as part of a wider project team.
- Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines.
